Game of Thrones will be back next year, and viewers can’t just wait to find out what the fate has in store for the people of Westeros.
Seems like the answer is provided by two similar faces.
Samwell Tarly (John Bradley) is the holder of a Valyrian steel sword called Hearstbane.
If you have been following the HBO series, then you would know that this si the rare metal which can kill a White Walker.
A Reddit user had contemplated what might Samwell do with the weapon, stating: “It’s safe to assume he won’t be on the front lines fighting with it.
“He’ll probably give it to someone else that would make good use of it… My guess is The Hound [Rory McCann].”
Another Reddit user was of the opinion that the sword would be given to Gendry (Joe dempsie), but, in an unimaginable way.
Caesar3890 wrote: “My guess for Sam, which I have seen elsewhere is that he will make a bolt or two out of the VS – this would explain why Gendry came back.”
In the Game of Thrones parlance, a “bolt” is a reference to a large weapon resembling crossbow.
This makes Gendry necessary because he is a master of Blacksmithing, and he could certainly be capable of using the Valyrian steel for the device.
In case the weapon is forged, it might be utilized to attack Viserion in the sky.
The ice dragon is probably the biggest strength of the Night King (Vladimir Furdik), but, that power will be lost after Samwell’s crossbow arrives.
Then on, it would just be a ground battle, and in case Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) are supported by the other people from Westeros, the Wights leader won’t be safe for long.
The newest revelation came at the time when Missandei star Nathalie Emmanuel had stated that the end is unlikely to be rushed.
She stated: “[Show bosses] will never leave the fans unsatisfied, they won’t leave the fans left short, it will go over and above the fans’ expectations as they do every season.”
You will be able to watch Game of Thrones on Sky Atlantic in 2019.
