The MCU recently celebrated its 10th anniversary. Iron Man, the movie that started it all was released in 2008, and the MCU since then has been creating many superhero movies. Marvel has had a huge impact on the film industry, and this cannot be underestimated. DC really did try to replicate Marvel, but the MCU is pure gold.
While it is very clear that the cast and crew of the MCU are a family, the idea of a family has also extended into the movies that they are now making. The family relationships in the movies are not always great, and conflict creeps in occasionally. Many of these movies, especially the Phase 3 ones have dealt with a whole lot of complicated family issues, and it is rare to see a perfect family in the MCU, and this has given many fans an opportunity to make some memes.
