During Twitter spat last week Bayley was disappointed by Dana Brooke’s comments about her. Bayley was responding about the upcoming match between Sasha Banks and Lacey Evans on SmackDown. Brooke took it from there and ensured that Bayley did not interfere. It is expected that Sasha Banks is the one who can eventually challenge Bayley for the SmackDown Women’s Championship and it is clear that Twitter spat is going in direction of certain contenders.
Bayley was born on June 15, 1989, in the Bay Area suburb of Newark, California as Pamela Rose Martinez. She attended Independence High School in the City of San José, California. An athlete since the very beginning she used to play several games, including volleyball and basketball and cross-country races. She developed an interest in wrestling at the age of 10. She started learning it from Big Time Wrestling’s training classes at Fremont with head coach Jason Styles. She took Davina Rose as her ring name for her debut fight. During her training, she started Wrestling at various promotions like NWA Championship Wrestling from Hollywood, Pro Wrestling Destination, and Shine Wrestling.
Her first win came against in 2012 against Melanie Cruise and Mena Libra in SHIMMER Women Athletes Volume 48. After her win, she signed a contract with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). She made her debut in WWE NXT with the ring name Bayley. She lost her debut match against Paige. She teamed up with Charlotte to win her first match in WWE defeating Alicia Fox and Aksana.
In 2014 she defeated Summer Rae and a tag team of Sasha Banks and Rea. She lost Charlotte at NXT Takeover: Fatal 4 Way and she was unable to capture NXT Women’s Championship. She is the first WWE Women’s Grand Slam winner after winning the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match. According to reports Bayley was engaged to Aaron Solow in 2016.
