New Deadpool 2 Poster Destroys The Seriousness Around Avengers: Infinity War


A fanmade poster for the new Deadpool 2  shows the Merc With A Mouth wearing the Infinity Gauntlet which pokes fun at the Avengers: Infinity War‘s main plot. Ryan Reynolds is back again as Wade Wilson, with a new set of mutants that become his band of allies moving forward. More details of the movie are still under wraps, but FOX has promised the sequel to be bigger and crazier. When the original director Tim Miller departed the project, director David Leitch took over. Writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese are with Reynolds also co-writing.

Meanwhile, at Marvel Studios, everyone is gearing up for Infinity War.  The highly anticipated superhero movie features almost every superhero in the franchise, the movie will pit Earth’s Mightiest Heroes against their most dangerous adversary yet, Thanos, in a race to first collect all six Infinity Stones. But while the Avengers and are scrambling to stop Thanos, it looks like Deadpool was able to get his hands on all 5 mystical gems according to the poster below.

In the poster, Deadpool is wearing the Infinity Gauntlet with the five stones on it (Power, Space, Reality, Mind, and Soul) and gestures with a middle finger.The Time stone isn’t visible as the poster is cropped. Check it out the poster below:

The above fan poster embodies Deadpool’s sense of humor, considering how he makes fun of basically everything. The film’s Cable trailer pokes fun at several other comic book films, including Infinity War, which Brolin also stars in as the mad Titan Thanos. It’ll be interesting to see how the movie will poke fun at the Marvel Studios film since it releases in theaters two weeks before Deadpool 2.

If Fox and Disney merge, Reynolds and the entire crew will have more freedom making fun of the MCU, especially since they might be joining the franchise and his love for self-deprecating jokes. Having said that, it’s still unknown how Deadpool will fit into the PG-13 rating which the Avengers have. Many are wondering if Disney will downsize many of FOX’s darker Marvel projects to suit their family-friendly brand. Fans shall see how the integration will pan out, but right now, the two franchises are still separately operating.

Deadpool 2 hasn’t been doing too well with repeated reshoots and film testing going poorly. And while more scenes with Cable and Domino have been added which is the reasons behind the reshoots another report revealed that Deadpool 2 is actually not doing too great for the pre-screening which leaves fans worried about the sequel. Fortunately, we won’t have to wait too long to find out.
