Emilia Clarke Almost Cried While Shooting Her Final Scene In Game of Thrones


HBO is now preparing to bring the Game of Thrones series to an end and Emilia Clarke has admitted that the filming of her last scene left her as an “emotional wreck.”

Even though this series will not be returning until next year, the curtains are closing on D.B. Weiss and David Benioff’s show.

While speaking in an interview, the actress had said,

“It really is the most heartbreaking thing to be filming the last of anything,” Clarke had said.

“I’ve become an emotional wreck on set. They’re like ‘Emilia…it’s OK’ and I’m like, ‘But it’s the last time!’”

The actress had said that her last few moments as Daeneryshas seriously with her mind:

“It f*cked me up. Knowing that is going to be a lasting flavor in someone’s mouth of what Daenerys is…”

Apart from bidding farewell to this iconic part, there are so many reasons why this is really difficult for Clarke. Daenerys one last time. Including the romance with Jon Snow, her character has to deal with the White Walkers and Queen CerseiLannister.

The actress did not reveal any spoilers about the show’s final episodes and could not confirm if Khaleesi will even make it alive to the final episode.

All the fans have to wait till next year to find out what happens to Daenerys Targaryen.
