Here’s How Fantastic Four Can Look In Marvel Cinematic Universe Reboot

At the time of the announcement related to Disney’s plans of acquiring 21st Century Fox, a lot of people were excited as this might make way for the X-Men and the Fantastic Four to become a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe soon. Sadly, the deal is far from having been approved, and it is unlikely that we will see a new version of these two franchises, at least within the next one year. Fortunately, a new fan art piece has provided the Marvel fans the potential look of Marvel’s first family featuring stars such as Emily Blunt, John Krasinski, Zac Efron and maybe John Cena.

BossLogic has become quite famous in the last few years courtesy the skills of creating some of the most amazing fan art out there on the internet. In fact, the artist has been noticed by Joe and Anthony Russo, the makers of Avengers: Infinity War, when he created the All-Hawkeye poster after the #WheresHawkeye hashtag on Twitter, and the excellent art piece titled “The Last Shawarma.” Therefore, it is not a surprise for us to see him create a fantastic version of what might be the new Fantastic Four, in case they do debut in MCU.

John Krasinski and Emily Blunt have been hobnobbing with MCU to play some role for quite some time. Krasinski earlier auditioned to play Captain America whereas Blunt was even cast as Black Widow once before being compelled to leave, and then later being in discussions to play Peggy Carter. Although the couple hasn’t yet managed to be a part of any MCU movie, Krasinski has expressed his willingness to play Reed Richards in a potential Fantastic Four reboot.

Despite having been fancast to play Reed Richards and Sue Storm, there has also been another name which has featured in various fancasts for a future Marvel role, and that is the former Disney star, Zac Efron. The BossLogic artwork shared above shows him depicted as Johnny Storm aka the Human Torch.

Three years ago, it was rumored that Efron was being considered to play some undisclosed role in Marvel Cinematic Universe. Apparently, that didn’t happen. However, if that rumor was true, it implies that the studio is not averse to working with Efron. Maybe, a debut as Johnny Storm is not completely ruled out then?

However, what surprised us is the depiction of John Cena as Ben Grimm aka The Thing. We think Cena’s depiction is an ambitious choice, but, since he is going to be the lead actor in the upcoming Nuke Dukem movie, Grimm might be a good follow up – in case Cena surprises us in the video game version.

For the time being, there is a time on our hands before we see any official casting start for the Fantastic Four reboot. Despite the announcement of Disney/Fox deal last December, the regulatory procedures will take at least 12-18 months to complete. Which means neither the X-Men nor the Fantastic Four are likely to appear in a Marvel movie until 2020.
