Iron-Man Confirms Spider-Man Is An Avenger In A New Infinity War Teaser (Video)

It is a moment for which Peter Parker has waited a long time, and it finally comes in the latest Avengers: Infinity War promo. Yes, we are talking about the web-slinger becoming a proper member of The Avengers.

The new TV spot shows Iron-Man aka Tony Stark officially welcome Peter into The Avengers. Imitating the way someone is granted Knighthood, Stark says to Peter, “Alright kid, you’re an Avenger now.” As seen in this TV spot, and in the earlier footage of the movie, Spider-Man will come across other MCU heavyweights, such as Doctor Strange, Star-Lord and Drax. He will battle in tandem with them and many others, to try and stop Thanos and his evil Black Order from successfully assembling the Infinity Gauntlet.

Spider-Man: Homecoming had a major plot point where Peter took down Adrian Toomes aka The Vulture in anticipation of making a good impression upon Stark and becoming one of The Avengers. Things didn’t turn out the way he planned, but, towards the end of the movie, he received an offer to become an Avenger along with the Iron-Spider suit, which he will eventually wear in the Avengers: Infinity War.
