The video game, God of War, has not yet released, but it has attracted great reviews from the critics an people have been spellbound by its graphics, missions, and storyline.
This is the 8th installment of the God of War franchise, and people are now wondering if we will see Kratos and his adventures on the big screen.
While there are no suggestions as of now regarding a Hollywood adaptation, we do know that one actor is thrusting his hand up for consideration.
The Game of Thrones and Justice League actor, Jason Momoa seems to really want to play the role of Kratos.
At a Comic Con event, Jason had been asked if he was familiar with this series and he replied,
“Do I know God of War? Yeah, the guy with the white paint… I would love to play him.”
The fan had gone back and asked him,
“If Sony ever contacted you, would you consider playing him?”
The actor replied, “Hell, yeah!”
He surely has the physique and can could always get much more hench for becoming the demigod. Momoa might be up against likes of Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson (The Mountain from Game of Thrones).
We have four more days until this video game releases the critics’ opinions seem to suggest that we are really in for a huge treat.
It is the critic’s favourite game in the history of PS4, racking up a score of 95 on OpenCritic and 94 on Metacritic.
IGN’s Jonathan Dornbush had written,
“I have audibly said ‘wow’ and sighed at the beauty of God of War.
“The texture of grassy hills in the distance feel real, light dances dazzlingly off of shinier surfaces, and every gnarled monster I have fought conveys such a sense of decay as to instill terror in me. Even the sky looks nearly photo-realistic.”
The deities in God of War have been Greek – Kratos, the major character, was a fallen Spartan warrior. The installment in this series pivots to the realm of Norse gods and features new environments, new camera angles, and an altered gameplay.
