Jessica Lowndes is a Canadian actress and singer-songwriter born on November 8, 1988, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. She became famous with her character of Adrianna Tate-Duncan on The CW teen drama series 90210 and for portraying in several Hallmark Channel movies.
Growing up in a household where her mother was a piano teacher and she knew from an early age that she had a passion for singing and acting. After producing much of her music from an early age she finally earned her first major opportunity in high school. While working on a project for Showtime, Lowndes met people from LA and got representation in the entertainment industry. With encouragement from her parents, Lowndes moved to LA at the age of 16 dropping out from high school.
She made a guest appearance on an episode of Masters of Horror followed by her recurring role in the sitcom Alice, I Think. She played a supporting role in the Lifetime movie To Have and to Hold, followed by a pilot called Pretty/Handsome in 2007. In 2009, she featured in Autopsy and The Haunting of Molly Hartley. This was followed by a recurring role as Adrianna Tate-Duncan in the series 90210. She starred in the short musical film The Devil’s Carnival in 2012. Lowndes appeared alongside Bruce Willis and John Cusack in Lionsgate’s 2014 action film The Prince.
She made her musical debut in an episode of TV series 90210 singing the charming, Mama Who Bore Me. This was followed by several singles in series 90210 like Jolene, One More Time, Fool, Teardrops Fall, I Don’t Want You Anymore, Snake Charmer and The Last Time. She featured as a writer, singer and lead guitarist in the song Fly Away on Myspace. She also featured in the list of World’s Most Beautiful People of 2009 by People magazine.
