Katja Herbers is a Hollywood actress from the Netherlands best known for portraying Dr. Helen Prins on the American television series Manhattan. She also appeared as Emily in the HBO series Westworld and the emotionally unstable borderliner Joyce on the Dutch show Divorce. She is currently featuring in the CBS series Evil and has been renewed by the network for a second season. She starred in the films Peter Bell (2002) and Brush with Fate (2003) during her studies.
She joined the Johan Simons’s Theater Company NTGent in Ghent just after her graduation. She later became a member of the renowned Munich Kammerspiele in Germany. She performed many Schnitzler plays, including his monologue Fräulein Else with directors such as Alex van Warmerdam, Ivo van Hove and Theu Boermans. For her portrayal of Irina in Chekhov’s Three Sisters, she won the Guido de Moor Award for young talent in 2013. She was honored with International Emmy and the prestigious Prix D’Europe playing a lead role in Theu Boermans’ De Uitverkorene (2006).
