Recently, Kiernan Shipka appeared as Sabrina, for the newly released music video for Straight to Hell by Lovecraft. Kiernan who is known for her role as Sabrina Spellman on Chilling Adventures of Sabrina will feature on the show whose video was released earlier this week. Shipka, who is acting as Sabrina in the video starts with holding a lantern, the beat drops and she starts dancing with various cheerleaders. The video featured scenes of graveyards, gates of hell, and fiery pits of red with Shipka as the original singer of the song.
Kiernan Shipka is 20, born on November 10, 1999, in Chicago, Illinois, the U.S. At the tender age of 5, she started taking ballroom dancing classes. To support her acting career her family shifted to Los Angeles, California. In 2008 and 2009 she won the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series for being a part of Mad Men’s ensemble cast. With the start of season 4 of Mad Men, Shipka was upgraded to series regular.
After Mad Men, she played a dual role in the Oz Perkins horror movie, The Blackcoat’s Daughter followed by her portrayal in Flowers in the Attic (2014). By Time Magazine in 2014, Kiernan was named one of “The 25 Most Influential Teens of 2014”. She played the role of B.D. Hyman in the FX television series Feud: Bette and Joan.
In 2018, Shipka starred as Sabrina Spellman in Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. Shipka appeared in Christmas romantic comedy movie Let It Snow directed by Luke Snellin. She played the significant role of a deaf teenager in John R. Leonetti’s horror film The Silence, opposite Stanley Tucci. Shipka learned American Sign Language for her role in The Silence. Her role was highly appreciated by the critics.
