Born on 7^th January 1982 in Philadelphia, Lauren Cohan is a successful British American model and actress. She was born to a British mother and an American father. Cohan also has Irish, Scottish, and Norwegian roots. She was raised in Cherry Hill and spent a year in Georgia. Her parents had divorced soon after her birth. She was seven when her mother remarried and she picked up her step-father’s surname ‘Cohan.’ Since her stepfather was Jewish, Cohan and her mother converted to Judaism. She relocated to UK when she was thirteen and made Surrey her home. She wanted to become a child psychiatrist during her teenage, but, after doing her higher education, she started studying English Literature and Drama at the University of Winchester.
