Legal Feud Of Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie Comes To Light After She Secretly Sells Her Share Of French Winery To Russian Oligarch

The actor has recently sued his ex-wife Angelina Jolie with the accusations of violating the terms of their estate ownership. She previously sold her share of Château Miraval the Correns, their jointly-owned estate, and winery, to Russian oligarch Yuri Shefler.

Shelfer owns S.P.I. Group and produces more than 300 brands of alcohol like Stolichnaya vodka. Brad claimed in the legal documents that in 2008, Jolie owned the winery for $28.4 million, and 40 percent of it was put down for funding.

Brad informed the court that he got to know about her deal with Shefler’s organization in October of 2021. The team has pointed out, “The purported sale deprives Pitt of his right to enjoy his private home and to oversee the business he developed from scratch.” A source close to Brad revealed that Jolie sold her share without considering ‘her legal and ethical obligations.’

They added, “In doing so, she has violated the rights of the only person who poured money and sweat equity into the success of the business by purporting to sell both the business and family home to a third-party competitor.” The actress “is seeking a return on an investment she did not make and profits she did not earn.”

Brad and Angelina met while filming Mr. and Mrs. Smith in 2004, and soon the couple earned the spotlight for being Hollywood’s golden power couple. They got married in 2014 and by August, their relationship took turns. The former Hollywood couple divorced in 2016, and after that, they have been involved in legal battles since then. Brad has also earned joint custody of their minor children, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox.
