Marisa Miller is 41, born on August 6, 1978, in Santa Cruz, California, U.S. Her modeling career started when she was discovered by two Italian modeling agents. She appeared nude in the first issue of Perfect 10 magazine which gave her the limelight in the mega fashion industry. She repeatedly featured in the covers of Perfect 10 magazine in various editions of August/September 1999 and Fall 2004 edition cover.
After being introduced to fashion photographer Mario Testino, Marisa moved to a high-profile mainstream model. She featured in the editorial of American and Italian editions of Vogue. She also appeared in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue by Victoria’s Secret in every issue from 2002 to 2008. She made up to the cover of almost every popular magazines like GQ, Maxim, Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, Elle, and Vanity Fair.
She also featured in various ad campaigns commercials of brands like Marc Jacobs, Tommy Hilfiger, Andrew Marc, Victoria’s Secret, J.Crew, Guess?, Nordstrom, Bath & Body Works, and True Religion jeans. She appeared in various runway debut for Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show followed by Fashion for Relief show, Fashionably Loud, Imitation of Christ, Inca, and Amir Slama’s Rosa Cha. She joined motorcycle manufacturer Harley-Davidson to launch the VRSCF V-Rod Muscle motorcycle.
She appeared as a judge in reality series Manhunt: The Search for America’s Most Gorgeous Male Model in 2004. She also played a cameo role in HBO’s Entourage and comedy How I Met Your Mother. She was cast alongside Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges in her debut movie R.I.P.D. (2013). She campaigned against SeaWorld’s practice of separating baby orca from their mothers, as part of the PETA initiative. Marisa married a surfing contest promoter, Jim Miller in 2000. The pair divorced soon after in 2002.
