The Love Actually star, Martine McCutcheon shared a throwback picture of her and her family on her Instagram. She declared her fans that it was the summer holiday when they knew what to do during the holidays. She has been busy with work lately and juggling with a lot of pressure. But this year, she has been bit rubbish and pleaded her fans to help her design some lovely summer holidays or fanouts ideas. She has a son with her husband, Jack McManus with whom she married in 2012. Before him, she was engaged to DJ Gereth Cooke. She was born on 14th May in 1976 in Hackney, London, England.
Her parents are Thomas Keith Hemmings and Jenny Ponting. In her junior school, she took part in her first play, Away in a Manger. At the age of 12, she got her first acting role in the American television commercial for the drink, Kool-Aid. After that, she was cast in the television series, Bluebirds in 1989 in the role of Mandy.
In 1991, she also appeared in the police drama, The Bill. She became a part of an all-girl group, Milan and the group’s three singles, Is It Love You’re After, Lead Me On, Affectionately Mine charted in the top ten of the dance chart.
In 1994, she was given a small role of Tiffany Raymond in the soap opera, EastEnders but gradually, her character began to get popularity and she won an award for her performance. She signed a contract with Virgin Records and her debut album, You Me & Us was released in 1999.
The following year, her second album, Wishing was released. Her fourth album was Lost and Found that was released in 2017. She is mostly famous for her role as Natalie in the romantic comedy film, Love Actually which was released in 2003. In 2005, she appeared in the drama series, Spooks.
She was selected as a judge for the 2nd series of Soapstar Superstar. She published her autobiography, Who Does Think She Is in 2000. Her first novel, The Mistress was released in 2009. She has won the British Soap Award, Empire Award, MTV Movie Award, and others.
