These Hilarious Responses By A Marvel Fan’s Wife When She Named The Avengers: Infinity War Have Gone Viral

A Marvel fan Gabrielle Regan-Waters asked her wife to name the various characters in Avengers: Infinity War, and as you know, there are plenty of them. That might not appear to be too extraordinary until you come to know that her wife had seen only two MCU films so far and those two were Captain America: The First Avenger and Thor: The Dark World. As can be guessed, it led to hilarious results when she gave names to the cast images.

“Asked my wife, who’s only seen two films in the MCU (Captain America 1 and Thor 2), to name #InfinityWar characters. It went about as well as we expected.”

There are several noteworthy things here, such as her calling Black Widow “Rogue” and then wondering her earlier choice when she saw Scarlet Witch and said, “Rogue maybe the other one is Jean.” It is also difficult to suppress your smile when she says Troot and has no idea about Ant-Man although she knew Paul Rudd. Calling Doctor Strange “Magician” and Black Panther “Chad Something” was also funny.

However, the next slide has the funniest ones. Maria Hill is named “Robin” (courtesy How I Met Your Mother), and Wong is termed as “Just a regular guy who gets caught in the crossfire.”

Okoye gets “War Maiden,” and is granted an extended family comprising of Shuri (War Maiden’s daughter), M’Baku (War Maiden’s Son) and Ayo (War Maiden’s Wife). A commentator called it as the “most iconic family.”

It wasn’t long before awesome comments started pouring in, beginning with “I AM TROOT” imitation. She also called Loki as “Dark Magician,” and when questioned about how she had seen Thor: The Dark World if she couldn’t recognize Loki, Brenda said, “All I remember from that movie is that the Mom died, and I was very sad about that.”

Her most priceless response was probably to Rocket Racoon when she says “Is this a character? It’s a raccoon?”.

This is definitely the funniest thing we saw today and all thanks to Brenda and Gabrielle for that. You can check the full image above.
