Miranda Lambert gets candid about heartbreak album The Weight Of These Wings saying that she needed to make it for her sanity. She attended the Country Radio Seminar 2020 in Nashville, Tennessee, spending an hour talking about her life and career for an audience of country radio professionals. The singer, 36 revealed that she plans to focus on ‘more quality, not quantity’.
Miranda Lambert is a well-known American Country Music singer who has six studio albums to her credit that include Kerosene (2005), ‘Crazy Ex-Girlfriend’ (2007), ‘Platinum’ (2014) and ‘The Weight of These Wings’ (2016). When she was in high school she started singing for the ‘Texas Pride Band’. She took to playing the guitar and writing her songs as she prefers country music to pop.
She is the first female artist to win the Country Music Association Award for ‘Album of the Year’ twice and has also won the Cover Girl ‘Fresh Face of Country Music Award’. She won the ACM Award for consecutively 8 years under the category of Female Vocalist of the Year. She has endorsed products like ‘Cotton Inc and appeared in a couple of television serials including ‘Law & Order’. Born in Longview, Texas, the USA to Rick and Beverly Lambert she was raised in Lindale where her mother ran a private investigating agency. She has English, Irish and Native American ancestry.
She launched her girl group called ‘Pistol Annies’ in 2011 releasing their first single, ‘Hell on Heels’. She along with Dwight Yoakam, Thomas Rhett, and Ashley Monroe made their first musical tour in England, Scotland, and Ireland. She made her acting debut with TV series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. She also made her appearance in The Voice’ and ‘CMT Cross Country’. She was in a relationship with R&B singer, Anderson East.
