Naomi Scott is a British actress and singer born on May 6, 1993, in Hounslow, London, England. She is a famous personality in both the British and the American entertainment industries and is known for her performance in the superhero film Power Rangers. She studied in Loughton-based Christian ecumenical secondary school and took part in drama and musical productions o a daily basis.
She was discovered by British pop singer Kéllé Bryan which influenced her to work as a singer with Bridge Church Youth Band. She signed a contract with the English songwriting and production team ‘Xenomania’. She began her acting career with Disney Channel UK’ series ‘Life Bites as Megan. She played the role of Mohini “Mo” Banarjee in teen musical drama ‘Lemonade Mouth. She also performed in soundtracks of ‘Lemonade Mouth’ released by Walt Disney Records in 2011.
Her solo track titled She’s So Gone grabbed the third position in the list of Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles. Her other tracks for the movie include More Than a Band, ‘Breakthrough,’ and ‘Livin’ on a High Wire. She portrayed as intelligent and socially clumsy 16-year-old girl Maddy Shannon in the American science-fiction series Terra Nova. In 2013, she appeared in two short films Modern/Love and Our Lady of Lourdes followed by British series ‘By Any Means.
She released her first extended play Invisible Division which includes singles like ‘Hear the Bells,’ ‘Motions,’ ‘Say Nothing,’ and ‘Running. She earned the role of Kimberly Hart, the Pink Ranger in superhero film Power Rangers. Her second EP was released in 2016 with tracks namely Lover’s Lies,’ ‘Promises,’ ‘Fool,’ and Prayer-Lude. She married English football player Jordan Spence after dating him for four years.
