Rashida Jones is 43, born on February 25, 1976, in Los Angeles, California, the United States to Quincy Jones and actress Peggy Lipton. She had a rich cultural background with her family of mingled races and religious beliefs. She used to read a lot of books at a time and used her dial-up modem to find the information she wanted. She went to Hebrew School as well as Buckley School to find her abilities and develop them. She attended Harvard University to complete her majors in religion and philosophy.
In 2016, she was invited to Harvard to deliver a motivational speech at the annual ‘Class Day Celebration. After her graduation, she worked as a backup singer for ‘Maroon 5,’ and movie soundtracks. In 1997, her acting career started with a debut in miniseries ‘The Last Don. She appeared in the successful drama ‘Boston Public’ followed by her next big role, ‘Karen’ in the series ‘The Office. She continued playing cameos in numerous movies like Now You Know’ (2002), ‘Death of a Dynasty’ (2003), ‘Little Black Book’ (2004), and ‘Brief Interviews with Hideous Men’ (2009).
She was cast alongside Jesse Eisenberg and Andrew Garfield in The Social Network’ in 2010. She also made her appearance in TV series like Friends with Benefits,’ ‘The Big Year,’ ‘The Muppets,’, ‘Our Idiot Brother and Angie Tribeca. Apart from acting, she authored a comic book series titled ‘Frenemy of the State. In 2009, she wrote the famous screenplay of Celeste and Jesse Forever.
