We are a year away from the release of the Avengers movie, and the title has not yet been revealed. The Russo brothers have admitted that one guess they have seen is the closest to real title.

Russo Brothers had said that no theory on the internet has hit the nail for the movie’s title. But they admitted that the guesses of “Avengers: Forever” was the closest that anyone has gotten to the actual title. Joe Russo had then joked about how close the guess was: “The actual title is The Avengers: Almost Forever.”

“Infinity Gauntlet” has been ruled out and the directors have admitted that they are adapting a version of the Marvel Comics source material:

“I don’t think there are any comics that correlate to it,” Joe Russo said.

“I think we’re in pretty fresh territory with Avengers 4. If anything, I think it’s interesting after to go back and look at some of the Marvel films and view them through a different lens. But I can’t think of any comics in particular that would have value.”

This approach is how the Russo Brothers have planned to dodge stories regarding Adam Warlock, who will not appear in the upcoming ensemble movie.

“Our job as we said a million times is to tell the story of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, not to do direct adaptations of the comics because we’re comic book fans,” Joe Russo said.

“I have no interest as a director in telling a story that’s already been told or in seeing one that’s already been told. If I know all the events story as they’re going to happen then what’s the point of going to the film? We want to keep surprising audiences and continue the story that started with Iron Man One a decade ago.”

Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War are now playing in theaters. Ant-Man and The Wasp is set for release on July 6, 2018. Captain Marvel will follow it on March 6, 2019, with the untitled Avengers 4 set to tie everything about the Marvel Cinematic Universe into a bow on May 3, 2019.
