Taylor Swift Could Be The Reason For Cancelled Deadpool TV Series, Here’s The Full Story

Steven Glover shared his thoughts on Twitter regarding the series which is never going to happen, stating that there was a particular episode based on Taylor Swift which ruined chances of a collaboration between them and FX.

“There really was a Taylor Swift episode,” Stephen mentioned in a tweet which has since been deleted “It was HILARIOUS. And it definitely was the last straw lol.”

That’s not all that Stephen Glover stated. He further explained about what kind of a series the Deadpool cartoon could have been. “Our show wasn’t too black,” Glover mentioned in another tweet which was also deleted later. “It wasn’t really that black at all. But we definitely wanted to give Rick and Morty a run for their money, and I think we would have. Proud of the gang.”

All this happened after Donald Glover had revealed 14 pages of the script for the animated series which almost happened, on Twitter. Although the tweets by Donald were also removed later, fans continue supporting him after having seen the good work that he was doing.

“For the record: I wasn’t too busy to work on ‘Deadpool,’” Donald Glover tweeted, before sharing pages that featured Deadpool mock the cancellation.

“You know, I’m not mad about this whole ‘cancelled’ thing,”Deadpool uttered in the script. “I mean, is it even a good time to have a violent, gun-loving white man ranting on TV? Other than the PRESIDENT?”

The test footage of the series stoked the fires further.

Due to creative differences, FX, Donald Glover, Stephen Glover and Marvel Television have agreed to part ways on Marvel’s ‘Deadpool‘ animated series,” FX said in a statement. “FX will no longer be involved with the project. FX and Marvel have an ongoing relationship through our partnership on ‘Legion,’ which will continue.”
