The Soul Stone Might Have Made An Appearance In The New Avengers: Infinity War Trailer.

Although the posters of the upcoming MCU blockbuster have shown Thanos with all Infinity Stones in place in that all-powerful glove of his, but, the earlier movie trailers and promotional spots have shown maximum of two or three stones, but, in this new footage, it is very clear that he has at least four or maybe five stones. Since it is a very fleeting visual at the 24 seconds mark in the new spot, but, you can have a look at the still shot below.

The way things look, Thanos seems to be in possession of the Space, Power, Reality and Soul Stones as he heads into the battle of Wakanda and might have the Time Stone as well. You read it right, this new footage has apparently revealed the Soul Stone, and it is now with Thanos.

Soul Stone’s whereabouts have been intriguing fans throughout the build-up to Avengers: Infinity War, and there are scores of theories about its possible location. Although we don’t get to know in this trailer where did Thanos get this stone, assuming it is the Soul Stone and the glowing purple indicates that he is almost through with his goal of completing the Infinity Gauntlet.

In case that unidentifiable fifth stone on Thanos’ thumb happened to be the Time Stone and not the Mind Stone, then that might momentarily give respite to the Vision fans. Earlier footage and images of the movie have shown the Black Order members trying to extract the Mind Stone from Vision’s forehead. However, actor Paul Bettany who plays the character in the movie had said back in June last year that Vision and Scarlet Witch/Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) will suffer some damage, but, will fight the bad guys off.

“These bad guys are trying to get the Stone out of my head, so Wanda and I fought them off and then we’ve ended up here for surgery,” Bettany explained. “I gotta get fixed up.”

The “here” he mentions is Wakanda.

However, now that Thanos probably has five out of the six Infinity Stones as he goes to Wakanda, that won’t be a good thing for the Avengers. It means that Thanos and his success is separated by only Vision, and once the Android dies, he would be able to destroy the universe with the snap of his fingers as Gamora said.

Avengers: Infinity War releases on April 27, and it will be followed by Ant-Man and the Wasp on July 6. Black Panther is still making money in several theaters all over the world.
