This New Avengers: Infinity War Theory Could Decode Doctor Strange’s Prophecy

“We’re in the endgame now…”

He evaluated almost 14.2 million likely results of the conflict towards the end of Avengers: Infinity War and Doctor Stephen Strange found that there was just one way to beat Thanos: handover the Time Stone to the Mad Titan and create a way to go back in time and reverse his mass murder. It’s all good then.

Such a feat definitely requires exploiting the Quantum Realm, although we need to wait until the release of Ant-Man and The Wasp in July before we get a better picture of Avengers 4 and the secrets it contains.

In any case, a Reddit user has come up with a brand new Infinity War theory related to Doctor Strange. This might be an inside scoop claiming that Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) might have a more impactful role in Avengers 4 than earlier thought.

This piece of speculations starts by going back to the Doctor Strange movie where Ancient One (Tilda Swinton) explained that the mastery of Mystic Arts ensured that she would never be able to see beyond her own death, but, Strange was able to see the 14.2 million possible results despite having been burned to ashes by the Mad Titan’s  finger snap. How is it going to make any sense? Is he supposed to have the same rules applied to him as The Ancient One? Therefore, he couldn’t have seen beyond his death.

However, what if Strange didn’t die at all? As we recall, during the brief meditation in the movie, he had seen scores of possible outcomes of the MCU timeline. Therefore, he might have just recreated the demise of Spider-Man and Drax, who had turned to ashes right in front of our eyes, when his time to go came.

Further, the fan suggests that Thanos doesn’t have omniscience, even after possessing the Infinity Gauntlet, so Cumberbatch might have just tricked Thanos into believing that he was dead so that he could survive and work behind the scenes in Avengers 4, without any traces of him.

That’s what this latest Avengers: Infinity War theory suggests. However, what’s your opinion? Is this a believable version of the philosophy made by Strange or just a weird theory?
