Born on January 14, 1981 as Trieste Kelly Dunn, she is an American actress. Dunn studied theater at the North Carolina School of the Arts where she was a part of numerous student films made by her classmates and future collaborators Zach Clark, Brett Haley, Aaron Katz, and Brendon McFadden. In 2010, the Filmmaker Magazine placed her among their Summer issue’s list of 25 New Faces of Independent. The Los Angeles Times called her a “break out star” due to her roles in the independent films Cold Weather and The New Year.

Dunn first shot to fame on the FOX TV series Canterbury’s Law as Molly McConneli opposite Julianna Margulies. Early in her career, she acted in acclaimed films like United 93 (2006), Cold Weather (2010) and Vacation! (2010). She has appeared on Fringe as Valerie Boone in the episode titled Midnight and also played a guest role on HBO’s Bored To Death.

In the year 2014, she was seen as FBI Agent Elizabeth Ferrell on Believe alongside her co-starring role of Deputy Slobhan Kelly in Banshee. During late 2015, Dunn started playing the recurring role of U.S. Marshal Allison Knight on NBC’s drama Blindspot in 2015. In the same year, she appeared as Natalie, a repeat role in the single season of Almost There on Audience. Dunn has also played guest roles on episodes of various other TV shows.
