Shuri Might Undergo A Massive Change In Avengers 4 And Fans Are Excited

There is no way you can choose one favorite character from the Avengers: Infinity War. The mega movie features the majority of the top heroes in MCU and also makes a reference to some great newcomers. There is plenty of Spider-Man who battles in the company of Iron-Man, but, Shuri also plays a part when she was given the responsibility of protecting Vision. Now, the MCU fans are campaigning to see her play a more prominent part in Avengers 4.

Those who have seen the movie are aware of the role played by Shuri in Avengers: Infinity War. The heroine steps forward when Steve’s team brings Vision to Wakanda. They are keen to find out if it was possible for Vision to survive without the Mind Stone. Shuri said that such a thing was possible, but, needed time. Unfortunately, that’s what she doesn’t get when the Black Order interrupts her in the middle of the process, making her escape with the device in which she had stored Vision’s mind while he had stepped into the battle.

However, that wasn’t the only glimpse of Shuri in the movie. The unthinkable happened when Thanos succeeded in completing his Infinity Gauntlet and wiping out half of the universe’s life. T’Challa also turned to ash as a horrified Okoye looked on. However, there was no mention of Shuri. Audiences assume that she survived and is dealing with bereavement. But, Shuri won’t have the time to mourn either. There is a lot of work to be done in Avengers 4, and fans believe Shuri will take on the Black Panther mantle in the wake of her brother’s death.

T’Challa is now dead, and half of the people wiped out, the remainder of Wakanda would need a leader and Shuri is the next claimant to the throne. Unless she faces a challenge, she would be the one to rule Wakanda after her brother’s death, and that automatically puts her in the mantle of Black Panther. This would also mean the existence of another superhero who would join the fight after that deadly snap by Thanos, and even in the comic books, Shuri has been shown as Black Panther.

While the comic books show her in a different light than the MCU, but, she is as motivated as ever. In the comic books, Shuri was blessed with the powers of Black Panther courtesy the heart-shaped herb and the Panther God. In case the Marvel Cinematic Universe decides, there is certainly a scope to make Shuri the Black Panther in Avengers 4 and fans are certainly backing the idea.

Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War are currently playing in theaters. Ant-Man and The Wasp will release on July 6. Captain Marvel on March 8, 2019, the Avengers 4 on May 3, 2019, Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 on July 5, 2019, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 in 2020.
